We are going to run an event to get to know our seniors better! It’s a fantastic opportunity to serve them and to practice being the body of Christ.

Here is the schedule for the night (taken from the advertisement for the seniors):

6:15pm - Doors Open

6:30pm - Program Starts (Program includes various youth sharing what God has been teaching them & then worshipping together)

7:00pm - Fellowship Through Board Games (Our youth will be split up at different tables with various board games (feel free to bring your own board games too - 6-8 players) . Your job is to find a table that has room and play board games with the youth. The youth will also have spent time preparing various treats for us to eat while we play.

8:00pm - Departure

As you can see from the schedule there are a number of different ways you can be helpful for this event. If you have something God is teaching you, we would love to have you share it with our seniors just like we have done at youth.

Also we are going to need some help baking treats for the event. If you are interested in helping with that please let us know (we will organize a time to do this).

Finally, what we really need from you is the ability to have some fun playing some board games with seniors. You won’t be alone, you’ll have a partner. This may be right in your wheelhouse or waaay outside of your comfort zone but either way we want to encourage you to sign up!

We need to sign up to make sure we have enough people to pull off the event/know how many board games we need.

We’ll talk more about this at youth so you’ll have a chance to ask your questions. But its going to be a fantastic night so make sure you register.
