ABUSE PREVENTION program

It is our responsibility as a church to safeguard the most vulnerable.  By protecting those who attend our church, while also striving to prevent harm, we are able to provide a safe and nurturing environment.  The guidelines in which we instruct our leaders and volunteers to adhere to are in place to inform, guide and direct their actions as they lead and interact with our children, youth and adults.   If you have any questions regarding our protection policies please email office@calvarygravenhurst.com.

We hold Abuse Prevention Training workshops twice a year. It is mandatory that all those serving in any of Calvary’s vulnerable areas (Kids Min, Youth, Safety) take one of these courses every year. Registration will be available on this page when there is a workshop coming up.
