Here is a sample schedule of what a regular night at Calvary Youth will look like.

6:30pm - Doors Open - Hangout

6:50 pm - Youth service (including teaching, prayer, worship, videos, testimonies, small groups & more)

8:00 pm - Tuck Shop & Games (Competitive games based on the teaching. We also run big game nights with a shortened service & larger group games)

8:30pm - Pick Up

Youth Leaders That Care

Our youth leaders love to have fun. They love to be crazy and competitive but also to simply spend time getting to know you students as friends.

Ultimately, are youth leaders come to youth because they care about you and they want you to know who Jesus is, and who He says we are.

For some of you that means that you are a Christian and our youth leaders want to help you know the God who loved you so much that he left his place in heaven in order to die for you and then to come back to life for you so that you could be with God and glorify him forever. They also want to help you live in the way that gives God glory, which really is our greatest good. Your obedience to God is ultimately for his glory but it also is meant for your good, joy and to experience the ultimate meaning for your life.

And if you aren’t a Christian that is cool with us. We are excited for the opportunity to get to know you! We are glad to have you hang out with us and our leaders are quite happy to work through any questions, concerns or even challenges you have with Christianity and the Bible. Our goal is never to try and force you into being a Christian, but to show you what we know is true and why we know it to be true. We believe we don’t have to convince you of anything ourselves, because we believe that God’s word can show you the most epic story ever told. But what is most epic of all is that God can use it to give you the most unshakable understanding of the purpose and meaning for your life, just as He has given to us. Even if you don’t believe us yet, that’s ok. Come and see!

God Is the Centre

The one and only true God, Yahweh is at the centre of everything we do.

The goal of our nights is to know him better, follow him better & and ultimately glorify him better.

This is why the majority of our nights are spent solely focused on Him. There are lots of different places for youth to gather and do “safe” things and “fun” things but the church is the place where people go to know God more and experience the power of following God in obedience together.

That is our goal: We want to support and equip Christian families as they disciple their youth and we want to support and equip youth as they live as lights in a dark world and share their faith with their friends who have yet to experience how Jesus changes everything. We want to see youth experience God’s word coming to life before their eyes and be fascinated by the wonder of God’s true and epic story of the universe.
