This is what our youth group is built around. God has changed our lives. He is the best thing that has ever happened to us. We want you to know him. We want to teach you about him. We want to follow him together. This is what we do.
So our nights are all about this. Every part of our night accomplishes one of these goals.
We Pray To God - Because He is in control.
We Learn About God - Because we want to know more about the one who saved us.
We Talk About God - Because He never designed us to do life alone.
We Worship God - Because we are so grateful for what he did for us.
We Live For God - Because it is the only response that makes sense.
So this is what you can expect from youth. Are we going to have fun? Of course we are going to have fun! But more than anything we are going to focus on what really matters. So we’ve still got Tuck Shop. We’ll still play games (within our COVID guidelines). But the majority of our night is focused on God. He is what matters. So we are going to learn about him. We are going to talk about him. We are going to pray to him. We are going to find creative ways to worship him. The focus is him. He’s who we are about and he is why we meet.
